The End of the Tour (2015)

August 21, 2015 by Marcus Westerman

This one has stuck with me. Kylah and I called it "creeper"-it really creeps up on you - it doesn't seem like there is a lot going on, but by the end I had goosebumps. It is the most realistic "midwest" movie ever- crunching snow, Minneapolis streets. David Foster Wallace is one of my all-time favorite writers (when he died I remember Tanya sweetly asking "How ya doing?") David's writing is brilliant and this movie is quietly profound and beautiful. One of the best of the year so far. Grade: A
